Q: How can I purchase tickets for Glasgow 2026?
A: Tickets are now on sale! Visit this link to be taken to our ticketing portal.
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis and payment will be taken immediately at checkout. For each session, there will be an availability indicator showing which sessions have the fewest seats remaining.
Q: Why are tickets not being sold by ballot?
A: We want the process to be fair and accessible, giving local fans first access. A pre-sale gives Glasgow and Scottish residents an early opportunity to buy confidently and directly.
Q: How are you ensuring Glaswegians have access to the Games?
A: Exclusive pre-sale phases have been created for Glasgow (G-postcode) and Scottish residents who registered by 16th October 2025
Q: How many tickets are available?
A: Around 500,000 tickets will be available across 10 sports, six Para sports, and four venues, including Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Ceremonies will go on sale in 2026.
Q: How do I access my tickets?
A: Tickets will be issued digitally to your registered email address in 2026. You’ll receive them as a PDF download or via a digital wallet (Apple/Google)
Q: The lead booker’s name is on the tickets — can others still use them?
A: Friends or family can use tickets bought under your account. The lead booker does not need to attend every session but remains the ticket holder and bound by the terms and conditions of sale.
Q: What does my ticket include?
A: Each ticket grants access to one specific session. Please check the date and time carefully.
Q: Can I get a refund or resell my ticket?
A: Tickets are non-refundable, but an official resale platform will launch before the Games for face-value resales.
Q: Can my tickets be revoked?
A: Tickets are subject to the Terms and Conditions.
Q: I didn’t get a ticket for the event I wanted — what can I do?
A: Demand is high, but additional tickets may become available later. Keep checking our home page and subscribe for up-to-date newsletters. Glasgow 2026 is packed with 10 incredible sports. Why not grab tickets for another event and experience some more action?
Q: A session shows as unavailable online — is it sold out?
A: Most likely, yes. However, more tickets may be released nearer the Games so keep checking our social media channels and subscribe for the latest updates.
Q: I don’t have a computer — how can I buy tickets?
A: A dedicated phone line is available for those needing assistance. Please call us on 0333 321 3126.
Q: Can under-18s purchase tickets?
