A: Yes, the learning platform is where you will complete your volunteer selection and training. The volunteer portal is where you will receive important updates about your volunteer journey as well as general information.
Q: I’ve seen others receive their selection invite, but I haven’t received mine. What should I do?
A: Don't worry – due to the large number of applicants, invitation emails will be sent out in phases. Please keep an eye on your email and remember to check your junk/spam folders.
Q: Can I access the learning platform via a phone or tablet?
A: Yes, the learning platform is user-friendly on both smartphone and tablets.
Q: I don’t have access to a computer or laptop; how can I complete the selection activity?
A: If you or someone you know requires help accessing a computer or Wi-Fi to access the learning platform, you can use the link below to locate a local library where you can book a computer Libraries in Glasgow. If you live outside of Glasgow, you can also use the government website to find public computer access in your local area.
Q: Can I pause and resume the activity later?
A: Absolutely, you can save your progress at the end of each section. If you need to stop partway through an activity, you can log out and return later – the system will pick up right where you left off. This means you can complete training at your own pace without losing progress.
Q: Can I retake the selection activities?
A: Unfortunately, no. The maximum number of attempts per course is 1, however you can review the information at any time.
